Location: Hybrid: 1-2 days at our Support Centre in Coleshill, Birmingham.

Responsibilities
* Manage the Maintenance Coordinators to ensure the team is supported to prioritise the processing of maintenance issues, escalating to management where necessary.
* Review team ways of working and the management of maintenance issues to identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
* Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities across multiple store locations, establishing a programme of proactive and reactive works to balance resource and budgets.
* Respond to urgent maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
* Supervise external contractors and ensure work is completed to agreed standards and SLA.
* Support store upgrade and minor property projects as required.
* Investigate and support property insurance claims as required.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, statutory maintenance, and company policies.
* Support store teams with maintenance queries and provide clear communication.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity, expenditure inspections, and contractor performance and populate period spend reports as required.
* Assist with planning and delivery of preventative maintenance schedules.
* Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions or improvements.
* Support the Facilities and Maintenance Manager in managing budgets, suppliers, invoicing and service levels.

* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and database systems.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Experience in a facilities, property, or maintenance support role.
* Familiarity with CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems.
* Understanding of basic health & safety or compliance requirements.
