Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an excellent Pastoral Manager to lead the overview of students' attendance for an identified cohort with a view to continual improvement and the removal of barriers.
Pastoral Manager
* Location - Liverpool, L19

* Full time/part time - Full time
* Hours - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Responsibilities:
* Work with the AHT (Attendance & Admissions) and other pastoral staff to ensure the implementation of the attendance and punctuality strategy.
* Ensure a smooth day to day operation of attendance and absence monitoring for a specific cohort of students.
* To complete Home Visit welfare checks for students with flagging attendance concerns.
* To undertake regular student voice activities and take necessary action on feedback.
* To ensure all students display positive behaviour and learning behaviours
* To contribute to the effective operational activities, including attendance at meetings, events and activities as required.
* To lead, support and encourage the highest possible standards of behaviour, learning, attainment and achievement.
* Monitor the effectiveness of absence interventions in place to support students across the identified cohort.
* Liaise, as appropriate, with internal / external stakeholders and outside agencies.
* Promote parent / carers engagement with regards to positive attendance amongst the identified cohort of students.
To be eligible:
* Previous experience working with children
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide at least two professional references covering at least 24 months/cover the last 2 years
