Our client, a fast-growing and market-leading Claims management company, is currently recruiting for a Subsidence Claims Handler to join their Subsidence Claims Handling team. The Subsidence Claims Handler will be responsible for acting as the primary customer contact in managing a portfolio of Subsidence claims.
Responsibilities for the Subsidence Claims Handler
Answer first point of contact calls and subsidence claims calls
Advise policyholders on general queries and insurance claims issues for subsidence and underground pipe claims
Negotiating settlement of claims both verbally and in writing
Key Skills & Experience for the Subsidence Claims Handler
Essential
Significant knowledge of the claims lifecycle and depth of experience in managing claims and colleagues at all levels
Excellent organisation, planning, personal management and prioritisation skills
Great analytical skills, distil data from many conflicting sources (expert reports, customer opinion, surveyor report) to form a claim strategy and engage it.
Strong written and spoken communication skills
