Process and Controls Analyst\n\nCompetitive Salary & Benefits Package\n\nGreater Manchester\n\nHybrid Working – 3 days office based\n\nLocation is accessible by bus, car (free parking), cycle, rail\n\nT2M Resourcing are working with an innovative and multibillion turnover market leader who have a great opportunity for a Process and Controls Analyst with strong controls testing experience to join their team. This role will have a strong financial reporting focus, to ensure governance across key business areas.\n\nWhat will you be doing as Process & Controls Analyst?\n\n * Reporting to the Internal Controls Manager you will be building process models in consultation with process owners and subject matter experts across the business.\n\n * Extending the current internal controls framework to ensure coverage of process, system and operational controls.\n\n * Delivering the ongoing certification of the internal controls programme.\n\n * Audit – identify opportunities for improvement and delivering an internal audit programme that supports continuous improvement across the Group.\n\n * Improving the effectiveness of the internal control framework.\n\n * Within this Process & Controls Analyst position you will utilise and develop best practice processes and tools to help strengthen corporate governance, financial controls, risk management and compliance across the Group.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\n * Ideally qualified accountant or part-qualified or finalist, or audit and committed to completing a professional qualification - study support will be provided for ACCA.\n\n * At least two years’ experience working within finance/ process controls or audit team with proven controls testing experience - we will consider candidates seeking a move from an accountancy practice and also from within industry.\n\n * IT audit experience with controls testing focus would also be preferable.\n\n * Quick learner with great attention to detail and passionate about accuracy and compliance.\n\n * Strong analytical, IT and MS Excel skills.\n\n * Excellent communication skills - comfortable and confident communicating at all levels.\n\n * Happy to take ownership and responsibility to work on your own initiative but also very much a team player.\n\n * Travel to other locations subject to business needs.\n\nThis is a hybrid role (typically three days in the office / two days working flexibly) that will provide a fantastic career development path and the opportunity.
