* Develop and embed evidence‑informed strategies to eradicate persistent and severe absence.
* Provide rapid, decisive intervention and challenge where attendance falls below expectations.
* Integrate attendance protocols seamlessly with safeguarding and inclusion systems.

* Lead the strategic quality assurance of safeguarding systems and school cultures.
* Provide expert coaching and guidance to DSLs and safeguarding teams.
* Ensure absolute compliance with all statutory safeguarding guidance.
* Conduct robust audits, deep‑dive reviews and safeguarding evaluations.

* Monitor and evaluate the impact of EHCP implementation and provision mapping.
* Champion inclusive, high‑quality teaching for pupils with complex needs.
* Implement strategies to reduce exclusions and accelerate outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.
* Advocate relentlessly for equity of access to education.

* Significant senior leadership experience (SLT or equivalent) within a school or Trust.
* A track record of demonstrable impact in improving attendance, safeguarding, SEND or inclusion.
* Exceptional knowledge of statutory frameworks and Ofsted inspection expectations.
* Experience driving change across multiple schools, settings or local authorities.
* Sharp analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategy.
* The emotional intelligence to challenge constructively and support empathetically.
* A deep, unwavering commitment to social justice and safeguarding.
