About the role
We are looking for a MPS teacher for a job share in our year 2 class on a 1 year FTC
Job Purpose:
1. Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class/es ensuring equality of opportunity for all
2. Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct
3. Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach
4. Be aware of pupils’ capabilities, their prior knowledge and plan teaching and differentiate appropriately to build on these demonstrating knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn
5. Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect and establish a framework for discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, sanctions and rewards consistently and fairly
6. Work collaboratively with others to develop effective professional relationships

7. You will need to be able to work closely with your partner teacher and wider phase team.
8. Qualified Teacher Status
9. Know how to plan engaging lessons that cater for the needs of all pupils
10. A thorough knowledge of the current curriculum practice
11. A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to attend training sessions as required
