The role of Housing Officer will include:
1. Working closely with the lettings team in allocating Voids, Tenancy Sign Ups and Viewings
2. Liaising with tenancy enforcement agencies to build relevant case files and manage the complaint process for the service area
3. Handling a range of situations including complex cases of ASB (anti-social behaviour), which may include attending evictions and multi-agency crime prevention meetings
4. Attending various meetings to coordinate tenancy termination and changes, property clearance, and support tenancy auditing and fraud investigations
5. Providing advice and support to residents through regular community engagement and signposting to relevant third party agencies
Skills and experiences:
6. Proven experience of working within the social housing sector will be a distinct advantage in this role
7. Knowledge of relevant housing regulations and legislation
8. A basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages is desirable, along with the ability to update electronic systems
9. Experience and knowledge of good practice resident involvement activities
10. Travel is a requirement of the roles, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

21. 32 hours per week salary: £28,063 per annum (rising to £29,540 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance)
22. 37.5 hours per week salary: £32,887 per annum (rising to £34,617 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance)
