We are looking for a dedicated and compassionateChildren & Family Workerto join ourKinship Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their carers by providing practical and emotional support, undertaking assessments, and contributing to care planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Assessing SW in compelting of Connected Carers Assessment
2. Support Connected Carers subject to temporary Approval Reg 24, ensuring they understand and meet the FSR /NMS
3. Support kinship carers with practical advice and emotional support
4. Work collaboratively with social workers, health professionals, and other agencies
5. Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning
6. Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children

7. Experience working with children and families, ideally within kinship or fostering settings
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
10. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation
