Overview
Independent Logistic Solutions are a member of the UK's largest pallet network, Palletways. Due to a member of our customer service team going on maternity leave, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to replace her during her leave. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen ability for data entry, and a passion for helping others.
Duties
* Respond to customer inquiries via phone & email in a professional manner.
* Provide accurate information regarding our services to assist customers effectively.
* Handle customer complaints with empathy and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date customer records.
* Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and enhance the overall customer experience.
Required Skills
* Proven experience in a customer service role prefereably within transport.
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail is required.
* Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and poise.
* Good IT knowledge with an understanding of Microsoft programs.
