What you will do: Provide expert advice and second opinions to SLT colleagues, particularly in the clinical management of clients following a stroke. Assess and analyze the type, severity, and impact of complex conditions related to speech, language, communication, and swallowing impairments in a diverse range of adult patients, utilising both formal and informal assessments. Offer guidance for clinical management, especially where multi-disciplinary team input is crucial on wards. Contribute your expertise to the development of local clinical guidelines, applying specialist experience from your specific work area. Successfully complete the competency framework within your specialist area of stroke. Monitor and evaluate the clinical effectiveness of interventions using evidence-based practice and outcome measures. Applicants must be HCPC registered and a car driver is essential for this role.
