You will provide a development and training service to professional social work staff primarily focusing on adult protection and outcomes based social work.
The main duties of the post include leading the development and implementation of staff education and training approaches around protection practice issues, service development and legislation.
You will have worked in partnership with a range of agencies and have experience of developing and/or delivering training and working with people in groups, as well as post qualifying experience in the field of adult services addressing protection issues.
You must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal and presentation skills, as well as have effective organisational and IT skills and be able to work with management at all levels.

It is essential that you have knowledge of current adult protection practice and an outcome-based approach.
You must be educated to Degree Level (SCQF Level 9) or above in a relevant professional care discipline.
