In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Analytical set up of Gas Chromatographs (GC), each GC is individual and built to order. The analytical setup depends on the individual customer requirements. Once setup, the GC is tested to ensure it meets those requirements. This requires details fault finding on the pneumatic, electical and mechanical parts. Following a detailed test procedure, recording detailed test records for each analyser. Working with compressed gas cylinders is an integral part of the test technician role. Carry out detailed analysis of calibration and test results. Completion of order documentation and preparation of test data for technical reports. Prepare analysers for / carry out Customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT's) Assembly of components and products according to work instructions Establishing gas connections such as tubing and piping, by selecting appropriate materials and fittings, ensuring secure and leak free installations. Execution of functional tests and performance verification of analysers. Preparing equipment of shipment by thoroughly inspecting and testing all components. You accurately complete assignments when working with peers, supervisors and customers to achieve Company objectives.
