What will you be doing?
* Review and improve Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
* Produce and carry out Internal Audit Schedule and monthly reports on project quality aspects.
* Review SHEQ preparations by the delivery team when preparing for maintenance and schemes.
* Carry out site quality and safety inspections.
* Assist Project Managers/Site Agents producing Quality documentation and deliverables.
* Review Sub‑Contractor performances against client and contract deliverables.
* Raise, record and review completion of Non‑Conformances.
* Control production of Work Packs for operational use and client interaction during Site Surveillances.
* Review collated Life‑Time Quality Records.
* Ensure the highest possible Health, Safety & Environmental standards are employed across the service, adhering to M Group & NNB health and safety policy and environmental policy and actively supporting the behavioural safety culture that is an integral part of the M Group Highways working environment and the Zero Harm initiative at HPC.
Qualifications
* 5+ years’ experience in SHEQ enabling functions.
* NVQ L6: Occupational Health & Safety.
* CSCS Managers and Professionals Card.
* Internal auditor qualified.
* Professional body accreditation and affiliation.
* Good IT skills.
* Good construction knowledge.
* Good communication skills.
