£600-£900 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions Education is working with a SEND Provision in Tameside that is looking to recruit a full-time secondary DT Teacher for January 2026. This is a full-time, longer-term role with potential to become permanent for the right teacher.
The School:
1. Specialist setting for secondary aged students with SEMH & Complex Needs
2. Ofsted-rated ‘Good’; the school is recognised for its broad curriculum and commitment to inclusion
3. Based in Denton, Tameside local to public transport and M60 – ideal to commute from Manchester, Stockport and Oldham
The Role:
4. Full-time class teaching covering subjects such as: Food Technology and Art & Design
5. Planning, teaching and assessment responsibilities
6. Working with other adults/ professionals – including outside agencies to promote the best possible bespoke support for the student and their needs
The Candidate:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (ETCs are encouraged to apply)
8. Experience teaching DT, Art & Design to Secondary Level
9. Experience working with SEMH & Complex Needs
