We are looking for an experienced Early Years teaching assistant to join our team to support children in our Nursery and Reception Class part time to cover maternity leave. You will be expected: To support the teacher in the planning and delivery of learning for small groups of children. To help with assessment and record keeping of individual children. To support the teacher in the evaluation of learning opportunities for individual children. To support and maintain positive links between home and school To help with the pastoral care and support of all pupils Assist with the development and implementation of Provision Maps and Personal Care programmes. Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher To support the teacher by leading groups of Nursery and Reception aged children. You must be able to demonstrate: Experience in working with children in Early Years (please specify in application letter if you have any experience with children with SEND). Flexibility and adaptability. Knowledge, skills and understanding of a range of strategies that will ensure the progress of the children.
