About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Support professional to join our team.
Reporting to the Head of Accessibility and Assurance, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting corporate governance, legal operations, and compliance activities within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
You'll be part of a small, collaborative team where your contribution will help ensure that our legal and governance frameworks run smoothly and effectively.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Prepare, file, and maintain statutory and corporate records in line with regulatory requirements.
2. Draft, format, and proofread a range of legal documents, including NDAs, board resolutions, and corporate approvals.
3. Manage and update the corporate legal document repository, ensuring version control and accuracy.
4. Handle confidential correspondence, emails, and legal notices with discretion and professionalism.
5. Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Engineering, Procurement, Property, Prosecutions, and Business Development.
6. Provide administrative support for areas including Data Protection, Freedom of Information, the Equality Act, Vento Claims, and the Public Sector Equality Duty.
7. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel to coordinate and support legal workflows.
8. Track key legal and regulatory deadlines, assist with reports and compliance registers, and help implement corporate policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Skills and Experience
9. Experience in legal or corporate administrative support.
10. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and time management.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
12. Discreet, professional, and confident handling of sensitive information.
13. Clear communicator and collaborative team player.
14. Proactive, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
15. Familiarity with corporate governance or compliance (desirable).
16. A-levels or equivalent required; legal or business qualifications desirable.
17. ICSA/CGI or paralegal certification is an advantage.
About the location:
The team is based in Milford House, Swindon. There are excellent public transport links.
Working Pattern:
Working hours are Monday to Friday office hours with a need to work flexibly on occasion
