Join us as a Volunteer! Volunteering with Change Grow Live is a great way to make a real difference in people’s lives whil st gaining valuable experience. Whether you want to give back to your community, develop new skills, or meet like-minded people, there are plenty of reasons to get involved. At CGL St Helens you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential. As a Recovery Support Volunteer you will be working in close collaboration with Recovery Coordinators, assisting them in their caseload management, supporting the service user through all aspects of their treatment journey. This can include completing assessments, risk management plans and undertaking one to one work. You will also be supporting with Ketamine awareness in the community and to professionals. Support the Recovery Coordinator to c arry out comprehensive assessments, triage, risk assessments, risk management plans and to contribute to the development of individual community recovery plans Provide harm reduction advice and recovery planning . Support those who use our services to achieve their care plan goals Support and empower service users to engage in recovery activities both within Change Grow Live and the wider community S upport with Ketamine awareness sessions in the community , to professionals , and at public events. T hese Ketamine awareness sessions will be delivered in the community at public settings and will be to different audience groups a s well as to other professionals alongside CGL staff. You will have the flexibility to work in community settings as well as in the office.
