Actual Salary:Grade C, £18,072.36 to £18,355.93

We are looking for an excellent Teaching Assistant to work alongside our Primary Team. Cromwell Community College is an established Academy and the development of the primary phase has created the first all through school in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside teachers in the classroom, support all pupils and be instrumental in working with the wider team to develop the ethos and culture of the primary phase.

The Ideal Candidate:
You will need to be well organised, able to work in a team and also able to work on your own initiative. We are looking for somebody who has some experience of working with primary pupils.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide support for pupilsby assisting with learning activities, implementing support plans, and supervising groups or individuals, including those with special educational needs.
* Assist the class teacherwith planning, preparing the classroom, maintaining records, and contributing to the development of behaviour management strategies.
* Promote a safe and supportive learning environmentby ensuring pupils' physical, emotional, and social needs are met, and encouraging independent learning.
* Ensure safeguarding and child protectionby following all relevant procedures, reporting concerns, and promoting a safe environment for all children.
