Service Coordinator- South Aberdeen (Hybrid)
The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating the UPS Industrial Product Contract Delivery team, providing clear direction, day-to-day support, and first-line guidance. Working closely with customers, internal departments, and external partners, you will ensure that product orders are planned, scheduled, dispatched, and invoiced in line with contractual requirements.
Office potentially moving to Angus within the next year but not set in stone.
Responsibilities
* Support the Operations Manager in the successful, on-time delivery of UPS product contracts.
* Manage and lead the UPS Industrial Product Contract Delivery team, providing day-to-day oversight and direction.
* Provide first-line guidance, support, and escalation management for direct reports.
* Deliver a consistently professional service to all customers, both internal and external.
* Support forecasting activities and contract scheduling for product orders.
* Work collaboratively with customers and internal teams to ensure contractual and business objectives are met.
* Control and submit all contractual documentation in line with company and customer requirements.
* Coordinate UPS product and battery-only contracts and orders in accordance with contractual obligations.
* Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the contract lifecycle.
* Attend and contribute to production, handover, customer kick-off, and customer update meetings as required.
* Manage and maintain control of customer delivery dates and the forward order book within EFACS.
* Control dispatch and invoicing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
* Support the delivery of export contracts, including liaison with freight forwarders and the preparation of export documentation.
Requirements
* At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial project delivery environment.
* Prior management experience.
* Experience of engaging with customers in a pressured environment.
* Computer literate and experience with MS Office, Excel.
