Job description Site Name: Ware Posted Date: Jun 26 2025 The core of this role will be to lead communications for a global site with NPI (New Product Introduction) or sterile operations and manage the site’s communication plans, activities, channels and messages that align with GSK and GSC’s (Global Supply Chain) business priorities. You will be part of the global Communications and Government Affairs team (CGA) aligned to GSK’s Global Supply Chain and be a member of the site leadership team. The successful candidate will be skilled at developing communications which are insight-driven, engaging and delivered in a timely, digestible way for maximum impact, that are inclusive and accessible to all employees and aligned to GSK brand and voice. You will have experience with strategic internal and external communications, social media, change- and issues communication. In this role you will: Develop and implement the annual site communications plan to drive employee engagement and align staff with site, GSC, and GSK priorities. Manage the site's communication channels, including town halls, newsletters, digital platforms, and intranet updates. Share relevant company news locally, highlight the site's contributions to global priorities, and create impactful content for engagement campaigns. Continuously improve communication effectiveness through measurement, feedback surveys, focus groups, and data analysis. Utilize innovative technologies and AI tools to enhance communication strategies. Train and advise site leaders on effective communication to ensure alignment and impact. Lead change communication plans for major transformations and new ways of working. Build and protect the site's local reputation through external engagement (e.g., media, LinkedIn, authorities) and crisis communication management. Develop the site’s narrative and assets (e.g., videos, photography, fact sheets) for external and internal use. Support site culture activation and employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with leaders, functions, and ERGs. Core Capabilities: Strategic Communication: Design and execute comprehensive internal and external communication plans aligned with business priorities. Content Creation: Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to produce engaging, impactful content. Channel Management: Skilled in managing diverse communication channels (virtual/in-person, online/offline) independently. Stakeholder Management: Strong influencing skills with executive presence; ability to localize global messages effectively. Change & Crisis Communication: Develop change communication plans and crisis responses to protect site reputation. Training & Coaching: Counsel and train senior leaders confidently, providing expert communication advice. Data-Driven Insights: Utilize metrics to measure and improve communication impact. Brand Alignment: Ensure adherence to company tone, visual identity, and brand standards in all communication materials. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications or equivalent Extensive communications experience, including significant expertise within the pharmaceutical industry Strong project management and interpersonal skills, ability to build networks quickly and form partnerships Excellent cultural awareness Ability to synthesize complex information quickly into understandable and relatable messages.
