Our public sector client are looking for Admin Team Leader on a Temporary basis.
Location: Hybrid – site visits required (Hinckley, Wigston, Melton, and County Hall)
Pay Rate: £13.48 per hour
Role Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Admin Team Leader to support and coordinate business support services across multiple sites within Adults & Communities. This role includes supervising admin staff, ensuring effective office operations, and maintaining high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate admin and reception duties across multiple sites
* Allocate and monitor workloads to meet deadlines and performance targets
* Supervise, train, and support Admin Assistants
* Manage correspondence, generic inboxes, and provide routine reporting
* Assist with recruitment, induction, and absence management
* Support health & safety checks, staff inductions, and office relocations
* Handle ordering, invoicing, and budget monitoring
* Maintain secure and efficient information management systems
* Attend meetings and represent management as required
Requirements:
* Strong admin team leadership experience
* Ability to travel across sites as needed
* Knowledge of data handling, performance monitoring, and office systems
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
