This particular role is based at our Bakkavor Salads Bo'ness site, which employs over 1,000 people and produces food-to-go salads and salad accompaniments to a number of customers. It is located 3.5 miles from Linlithgow and 8 miles to Falkirk. About the role. We are looking to recruit a Specifications Technologist to join our Technical team. Completion of finished product specifications to meet the critical path and/or customer requirements ensuring right first time. Maintain, review and update live finish product specifications ensuring that all details are up to date. Coordinate artwork for new products, re-design and any amendment requests ensuring critical path is adhered to and any potential issues are communicated to relevant functions in the business to achieve successful launch. To contribute to customer audits and visits; to ensure the customer interface internally and externally are managed professionally and in a timely manner. To conduct audits as part of the internal audit team. Ensure that any customer complaints in relation to product labelling are investigated and responded to. Manage finish product integrity list. Maintain information for all current SKUs and update with new/re-design lines ensuring all brand integrity claims meet customer requirements. Other duties as required to assist the Technical Services Team appropriate with the level of responsibility. About you Ideally you will have previous experience within a specification's technologist role or similar position. The role may also be suitable for a Food Science Graduate interested by a career path in Nutrition and Specifications of products. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to analyse information and accurately record or report in a clear and competent manner. Excellent IT and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to tight deadlines under pressure. What you'll receive.
