Social Worker – Adult Social Care (Cross Team Support)
Location: Based at South Lakeland House, Kendal and Voreda House, Penrith.
Location and teams may be adjusted to cover long‑term absences and reduce agency usage, with occasional cross‑service deployment to Mental Health or Learning Disabilities as required.
Join us as a Cross Service Social Worker and contribute across a diverse range of needs. You’ll work within one of the following service areas—Older Adults and Physical Disabilities, Safeguarding, or Care Homes—covering either the South Lakes or Eden area, with opportunities to broaden your experience and develop professionally.
We’re looking for a qualified, registered Social Worker with strong experience in adult services, solid case management skills, and the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations. You will work with partners, communicate effectively, and develop person‑centred solutions.
