What Youll Do
As an Electrical Design Engineer, youll:
* Design HV Substations and Electrical Infrastructure up to 132kV
* Prepare design packages including cable schedules, schematics, ADMD calculations, and battery charger sizing
* Develop Single Line Diagrams and detailed protection and control design specifications
* Design HV cable systems using manufacturer data and analysis software
* Undertake preliminary design studies looking at load flow and fault levels
* Carry out earthing designs using excel and CDEGs

What Were Looking For - Engineering
* Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
* 3+ years in HV/Electrical Design Positions
* Strong technical knowledge of power engineering
* Ability to effectively communicate technical information
* A postgraduate qualification in Power Systems is adavantageous
* Full UK driving licence & Right to Work in the UK
* Chartered or working toward IEng/CEng (IET)
