East London | Electric Micromobility | Last Mile Logistics
The cities are changing. The supply chain needs to keep up.
By 2030, 500 cities across the UK and EU will ban commercial vans from urban centres. The last‑mile logistics industry is being forced to reinvent itself, and the electric vehicles that will replace those vans are being built right now, in London, by a team that is not waiting for the market to catch up.
This is a Supply Chain Consultant role at the centre of that transition.
What this role is
This is not a graduate scheme. It is not a rotational programme. It is not a structured pathway with a five‑year plan.
It is a seat at the table, early, inside a startup building commercial electric vehicles that will reshape urban logistics. You will work directly with the founding team, take real ownership of a complex multi‑commodity supply chain, and help define how this function operates as the business scales.
The supply chain spans electronics, PCBs, powertrain components, precision mechanical parts, and supplier relationships across Asia. It is live, complex, and critical to every vehicle that leaves the floor.
Why is this opportunity different
You will learn from people who have done this at the highest level. The founding and operations team have built and scaled supply chains in demanding environments. You will work alongside them directly, not beneath layers of management. That proximity is rare at this stage of a career.
You will not be maintaining someone else’s process. The business is in a build phase. The systems, workflows, and ways of working are still being shaped. Your input matters, and your ideas will be heard from day one.
You will work with modern tools and AI‑powered workflows. This team is actively rethinking how supply chain management should work. If you want to develop in an environment that embraces technology rather than defaults to spreadsheets, this is it.
Clear growth trajectory. As the business moves through its next product launches, this function will scale with it. The person who comes in now and builds the foundation will be the person who leads it.
What the role involves
Taking end‑to‑end ownership of supply‑chain project management across a multi‑commodity bill of materials. Managing ordering, shipment scheduling, and ERP data integrity on a modern, founder‑accessible platform. Building direct supplier relationships across China, India, and other complex geographies. Identifying problems before they become delays. Finding better ways to execute and being supported to build them.
Who we are looking for
Someone early in their supply‑chain career with the drive to own something, the curiosity to keep improving it, and the confidence to flag when something is not working.
You do not need to have scaled a supply chain before. You need to want to.
Experience with ERP systems, procurement, or supplier management is useful. A sharp, proactive mindset and genuine hunger to grow are essential.
