This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident, passionate about education, and excited by the idea of supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role
As a Maths Cover Supervisor, you will:
1. Deliver pre-prepared Maths lessons to classes in the absence of the class teacher.
2. Maintain a calm, supportive learning environment.
3. Manage classroom behaviour following the school’s behaviour policy.
4. Engage and motivate students, especially within Maths and numeracy-focused lessons.
5. Support pupils to stay on task, understand learning objectives, and complete work to a high standard.
6. Be a reliable, positive, and proactive part of the school community.
This role is perfect for individuals considering a future in teaching, recent graduates, or experienced educators looking for a new challenge.
What We’re Looking For
7. Strong subject knowledge in Maths (essential).
8. Previous experience in schools, tutoring, youth work, coaching, or similar (desirable).
9. Confident behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships.
10. A genuine passion for supporting young people’s education.
11. Resilience, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
