Please note this is an 18.5hours per week post worked over 2.5 days.
As a Lettings Coordinator, typical day might include:
1. Working with our empty properties team to ensure properties are returned with a focus on quality and time.
2. Liaising with our Area Service Managers to ensure properties are allocated in line with the relevant policies and procedures.
3. Working with others to identify solutions.
4. Producing performance reports.
5. Chairing meetings between relevant teams to ensure effective and efficient communication of progress updates.
6. Resolving council tax and utility invoice queries related to empty properties.
7. Maintaining our housing management system.
8. Providing hands on support to the wider neighbourhood’s team, to ensure an efficient and effective service to our customers.
9. Taking an active role in the improvement of empty property management.
Some of the experience/skills we need to consider you:
10. Computer literate with a good working knowledge of software such as word and excel – you will need to use these to do the job.
11. Good organisation skills with the ability to independently achieve deadlines.
12. You’ll have the ability to handle information, securely, timely and accurately including producing clear written reports, letters and minutes.
13. A strong customer focussed approach both externally and internally.
14. Be committed to working as part of our team.
15. Be motivated, adaptable, determined, and able to work on your own initiative to resolve problems and achieve positive solutions.
16. An ability to communicate effectively, with influencing and negotiation skills.
