Key Responsibilities by Phase:\n\nPhase 1: Business Generation and Sales Leadership (Months 1–6)\n\n * Drive new business across the UK from both warm and cold leads\n\n * Target fabricators, window and door manufacturers, developers, and Tier 1 & 2 contractors\n\n * Close profitable B2B projects, including installation-only and full design-supply-install packages\n\n * Manage and convert leads using CRM and internal tools\n\n * Own key accounts and handle the full sales cycle from outreach to closing\n\nPhase 2: Department Setup and Team Expansion (Months 6–12)\n\n * Begin hiring and onboarding new sales team members once personal KPIs are achieved\n\n * Design team structure, lead generation systems, and internal sales processes\n\n * Collaborate with operations on quoting strategy and pipeline forecasting\n\nPhase 3: Full Commercial Ownership (Months 12–24)\n\n * Build and manage a sales department with 5+ direct reports\n\n * Deliver quarterly growth in margin, new business, and sales velocity\n\n * Work closely with MD on pricing evolution and delivery capacity\n\n * Represent Sparrow at key industry events and major client meetings\n\nPerformance Expectations:\n\nThis role is for someone who thrives on performance and reward. Your progression will be measured by clear commercial results.\n\nCore KPIs:\n\n * Monthly Net Profit (personal): £50,000+\n\n * Quarterly Net Profit (team): £150,000+\n\n * Annual Net Profit (personal): £600,000+\n\n * Annual Revenue Influenced: £2,000,000+\n\n * Key Account Generation: 3–5 per quarter\n\nCompensation & Benefits Summary:\n\nBase Salary:\n\n * £40,000 during probation (6 months)\n\n * £60,000–£70,000 post-probation (performance-based review)\n\n * £90,000–£100,000 after promotion to Sales Director\n\nCommission:\n\n * 5% of net profit on personal deals\n\n * 0.5% on team deals\n\n * 7% on margin exceeding 125% of target\n\nBonuses:\n\n * Up to £5,000 quarterly based on personal and team results\n\n * Up to £10,000 annually based on strategic delivery\n\n * Loyalty Bonus: £15,000 at 24 months upon successful promotion and KPI delivery\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Laptop, phone, and fuel card\n\n * Car allowance and performance-based incentives
