We are looking for a Pressure & NDT Engineer based in the Manchester region.
What will you be doing?
As a Pressure & NDT Engineer, your role involves planning and conducting inspections and reports, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on various pressure equipment across different industries and clients.
The inspections ensure compliance with current legislation and meet our Business Management System standards. You will primarily perform statutory inspections, NDT, testing, and reporting on industrial equipment, serving as a technical expert and representative of BES Group.
For statutory inspections, you will:
* Conduct rigorous inspections to identify defects and prevent incidents
* Prepare detailed reports
* Ensure clients comply with relevant regulations (including PSSR)
* Provide exceptional customer service and professional representation
For NDT inspections, you will:
* Perform NDT in accordance with procedures and standards
* Interpret and evaluate test results
* Document findings with reports and sketches as needed

Our training is highly regarded. Successful applicants will join our 8-16 week Engineer Surveyor training program.
Requirements:
* Engineering qualification at Level 4 with practical experience
* Experience with pressure equipment (boilers, vessels, etc.)
* Knowledge of relevant regulations
* Experience in site NDT environments
* Skills in Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant testing
* Ability to communicate complex issues clearly
* IT proficiency for reporting via tablets and phones
* PCN Level 2 (desirable)
