Class 2 (Category C) Driver - Temp to Perm Opportunity We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver on a temporary to permanent basis to join our team based at our Preston depot, covering local deliveries. Pay & Benefits: £14.77ph Min 10 hours £50 per week bonus Overtime paid after 50 hours 20 days holiday per annum Bank Holidays Saturday mornings required on a rota basis (1 in 10) Paid at overtime rates Role Details Depot location: Preston Typical delivery area: FY postcode Local, planned Class 2 deliveries Full training provided Key Duties Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Safe and compliant operation of a Class 2 vehicle Completing deliveries in a timely and professional manner Ensuring loads are checked, secure, and delivered safely Completing all required paperwork accurately Maintaining a high standard of customer service Adhering to driver hours, tachograph, and road transport legislation Requirements Valid Category C (Class 2) licence Minimum of 2 years Class 2 driving experience Over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes) Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach Candidates who wish to be considered for this position are invited to submit their CV or contact us directly on 01772 201 777 for further information.
