What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional oncology care, through:
1. Delivering and managing a high-quality, specialist pharmacy service for oncology patients
2. Providing clinical guidance to consultants, nursing staff and patients on the safe and cost-effective use of cancer medications
3. Leading on chemotherapy provision and ensuring compliance with professional, ethical, and legal standards
4. Supporting the development of innovative oncology services and business opportunities
5. Driving evidence-based practice and participating in clinical audits
6. Managing medication movement, stock control, and the safe storage and application of oncology drugs
7. Maintaining excellent communication across diverse teams and contributing to continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
8. BSc or MSc in Pharmacy
9. GPhC registration (no restrictions)
10. Strong clinical reasoning skills in complex and varied cases
11. Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and/or equivalent experience in oncology
12. Broad pharmaceutical knowledge and competency across key clinical areas
Desirable:
13. Experience delivering specialist oncology pharmacy services
14. A track record of working closely with consultants and clinical teams
15. Involvement in developing new services and business opportunities
16. Skills in clinical auditing, innovation, and stock management
