We're seeking a Finance Officer who will bring accuracy, integrity, and insight to our finance function – supporting everything from daily transactions to financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
· Managing day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support.
· Assisting in the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and financial reports.
· Monitoring income and expenditure across our mental health and supported housing services.
· Working closely with the management team to ensure accurate financial tracking.
· Supporting our Treasurer on regulatory reporting.
· Maintaining compliance with charity and housing finance regulations.
You will need to have:
· Proven experience in charity and/or social housing finance (or transferable sector knowledge).
· Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and budgeting.
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Excel.
· Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
· Empathy for our mission and a desire to contribute to positive social impact.
· Be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
