About the role
Join NFU Mutual as a pivotal member of our Regional Senior Technician Underwriting team, managing complex, high-value cases and ensuring technical activity delivery. You’ll advise, train, and guide others to maintain technical knowledge and capabilities across regions, meeting objectives, KPIs, and delivering excellent customer service.
You’ll manage the administration and resolution of intricate cases and referrals, ensuring regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for members. You’ll also lead training and coaching initiatives to develop team members’ technical skills and uphold our customer service standards.
Contribute to strategic planning and development of technical capabilities, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with company policies. Monitor and report on technical activities, identify improvement opportunities, and drive efficiency and service enhancements for customers and the organisation.
Please note the internal job title for this role is Regional Senior Technician – Underwriting.
About you
Successful candidates will have a proven track record managing complex Commercial Underwriting cases and providing technical expertise within a regulatory environment. Experience in developing and coaching others, or supporting peers to gain authority, is essential.
You will also have:
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* High attention to detail with pragmatic and logical thinking
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* Experience building and managing stakeholder relationships
* Report writing experience (desirable)
