Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Pilling this September. This is a full-time opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey during those vital early years.
Role Responsibilities:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
* Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
* Helping to create a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment for all learners.
* Monitoring and recording student progress in collaboration with the teacher.
✅ Requirements:
* Experience working with early years or primary-aged children (Reception experience is highly desirable).
* A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 TA qualification) is beneficial but not essential.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel).
