We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers like you to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community.
Location: Blyth, Northumberland. Contract posted by TARGETED PROVISION LTD on Tuesday, 10 March 2026. Salary: £28 - £35 per hour.

Responsibilities
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* A Role with Purpose: Join a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people for the better, support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
Qualifications & Requirements
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
Additional Details
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
* Specialist roles often held by candidates: SENDCo (Special Education Needs Coordinator), SLD/MLD Teacher, Autism/ADHD Support Teacher, Intervention Specialist/Teacher/Tutor, Ex-Teacher
* Other relevant roles from therapeutic and learning support backgrounds: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)/Teaching Assistant (TA), Educational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist (SALT), Educational Psychologist (EP), Inclusion Coordinator
