As the Assistant Management Accountant, you can expect to excel in a vibrant environment. Your role will involve essential tasks such as managing accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely processing, supporting month-end tasks to assist the board and overall business, processing billings, and conducting regular analysis to guide internal decision-making.
You will also coordinate the day-to-day finances of smaller partner companies. Reporting to our Financial Controller, you'll work independently on your tasks while receiving managerial support.

Key tasks include:
1. Manage the accounts payable process with accuracy and timeliness
2. Ensure all costs are processed on time to support monthly reporting cycles
3. Reconcile key balance sheet accounts regularly
4. Support the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end tasks
5. Manage the accounts of smaller sister companies under guidance
6. Ensure timely submission of statutory filings such as VAT and P11D
7. Contribute to improving efficiency in financial processes and systems
8. Communicate clearly with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Salary range: £38,000 - £45,000 p/a depending on experience

Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced or creative environment
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Organized and reliable, able to meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills
* Calm under pressure
* Experience with Sage (desirable)
