We are looking for a highly knowledgeable Gardener with bags of energy, a passion for the outdoors and the desire to be the best, to join our Gardens and Maintenance team at The Retreat, Elcot Park. Our 55-bedroom hotel has been transformed to offer bespoke designed bedrooms, two new exciting restaurant concepts, a state of the art spa with hot and cold tubs on the lawn, and many more experiences to offer our guests. This is a 6-month fixed term contract, and would suit someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys flexible hours and takes pride in creating beautiful, welcoming spaces for our guests. Working closely with our Head Gardener, you'll support the upkeep of our lawns, borders, pathways and landscaped areas, ensuring they remain tidy, vibrant and guest-ready. Maintain borders, beds, potted plants, pathways, and guest‑facing outdoor areas. Use garden tools and machinery safely and complete basic equipment checks. Keep all outdoor spaces tidy, welcoming, and ready for guests. Spot and report any plant health concerns. Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
