Salary: £30,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking someone with strong experience using Power BI, including importing data, carrying out advanced data transformations, writing DAX formulas, and building reports with interactive visuals and drill-through functionality. We welcome experience with MS Fabric, database imports, Power BI Dataflows, SQL, R, or Python. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a strong ability to rapidly develop new technical skills. Knowledge of datasets relevant to the Scottish social housing sector, including Scottish Housing Regulator reporting requirements or Scottish Government homelessness data collections, would be advantageous but is not essential. We require a minimum of one reference from your current or most recent employer. This is a fixed-term role ending no later than 30/11/2027. Responsibilities: We will expect you to work with Information Analysts, managers, and team leaders across the Housing Service to understand and define reporting requirements. We will ask you to extract data from our housing management system and use it to design and deliver user-friendly, interactive Power BI dashboards. We will rely on you to support the migration of our existing SAP Business Objects reports to a Power BI-based reporting approach. We will expect you to enable staff to access performance and monitoring information on a self-service basis. We will ask you to support data analysis and data-driven performance improvement within a public sector environment.
