Senior People Advisor - CambridgeCirca:Salary - Salary Plan, 44,000.00 GBP AnnualWe are looking for a Senior People Advisor on a 12-month contract.Are you passionate about enabling people to succeed and creating the processes to help them do that? We have a fantastic opportunity to join the RSC at a time of exciting change and transformation in the people and culture team. As an organisation that truly values our people, this role will design the right processes and policies that are culturally aligned as well as compliant, and then deliver effective process outcomes for our people and the RSC. We are looking for someone to join our team for an immediate start, so please only apply if you will be available at short notice!You will need a solid and confident understanding of UK employment law (international employment law would be a bonus). You will be a specialist in your field, with credibility and a confidence to challenge when necessary. You will have proven experience in facilitating people processes, demonstrating credibility through your experience and high-quality service delivery. A capable advisor and facilitator, you will ensure that our people experience the best of the RSC through fair and consistent processes. This will include supporting people to enhance performance or managing and supporting health absences. The role will facilitate all people processes including disciplinary and grievances when required, with a focus on forward looking preventative measures to build on our great culture.Key requirementsProviding advice, guidance and process support to managers.Creating and updating compliant employment policies that are culturally led.Articulate and capable of structuring well defined written outcomes to processes.Organised, methodical, and able to multitask.Experienced in managing complex case load.Supportive and empathetic, with an ability to think holistically to identify the right outcomes.Co-ordinating and analysing data to identify trends and propose solutions to make improvements to the RSC employee experience.Ability to coach and train managers to build capability aligned to policy and processes.CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent depth of experience.Up to date UK employment law knowledge. ​Applicants should be aware that there is an expectation that employees will attend our Cambridge office around 1-2 days a week depending on service need.
