Job Description
A Warwick-based manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for the aerospace and motorsport industries is seeking experienced CNC Milling Setter/Operators.
Shift Patterns
Day Shift
1. Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:45
2. Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
3. Total: 39 hours per week
Afternoon Shift
4. Monday to Thursday: 14:30 – 23:30
5. Friday: 12:45 – 17:30
6. Total: 39 hours per week
Role Responsibilities
7. Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components in line with aerospace specifications.
8. Work with FANUC CNC programs, including the use of canned cycles.
9. Read and interpret both final and stage engineering drawings.
10. Upload programs and set up tooling, chucks, collets, and fixtures.
11. Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
12. Record measurements throughout the manufacturing process.
13. Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as required.
Experience & Skills
14. Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship is preferred.
15. Strong technical ability in CNC milling operations with excellent attention to detail.
16. Basic mathematical skills for machining-related calculations.
