The RoleMy client, a well-established and highly regarded legal practice with offices across Hartlepool, Peterlee, Durham, and Wingate to recruit a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in estate administration to manage their own caseload and provide expert advice on a range of private client matters. You will undertake fee-earning work including will drafting, probate and estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and Court of Protection matters. In addition, you will maintain strong client relationships, manage files accurately in line with firm policies, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Lexcel standards.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 1 year PQE in private client work, particularly estate administration. You will have experience running a caseload independently, providing clear legal advice, and managing all aspects of private client matters from start to finish. Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is required. You should be highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A polite, approachable attitude with clients, combined with self-motivation and the ability to work effectively as part of a professional team, is essential.
