Playback, Inverness's groundbreaking four-floor venue, is building its culinary team and is now hiring dedicated and passionate Kitchen Staff. As part of our dynamic kitchen, you will contribute to shaping the culinary excellence that defines Playback's unique identity. Due to our opening and closing times especially over the weekend you will on a rota basis have weekends off, start later and finish early evening.
Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation: Execute culinary techniques to prepare and assemble American fusion comfort food dishes according to Playback's high standards.
* Quality Control: Ensure the quality and consistency of all dishes, following established recipes and guidelines to uphold Playback's culinary excellence.
* Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to support daily operations, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment that reflects Playback's brand ethos.
* Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, adapting to changing circumstances and contributing to the success of Playback's culinary offerings.
* Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and culinary techniques to provide excellent customer service and contribute to the overall success of Playback's culinary operations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a kitchen role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
* Passion for American fusion comfort food and a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
* Team player mentality with effective communication skills.
* Adherence to health and safety regulations and a commitment to cleanliness.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
