We’re looking for Recycling Project Officers to join our Waste Management team. In this role, no two days are the same, but What makes this role exciting?
* You’ll lead on exciting projects
* You’ll engage with residents and businesses throughout the city to educate on all things waste and recycling.
* You’ll introduce innovative initiatives to support the Council’s sustainable waste strategy to minimise waste and maximise reduce, reuse and recycle
* You’ll be part of the new Simpler Recycling strategy for England and the roll out within the city
* You’ll be the go-to person for resolving operational waste management issues quickly and effectively.
* You’ll keep our digital resources fresh and accurate
* You’ll design and deliver creative waste minimisation campaigns for residents, schools, and businesses, working closely with community and voluntary organisations.
* Complaint investigation and resolution by following through with the end-to-end process
