SEN PE Teacher – Immediate or ASAP Start Bury Are you a passionate and energetic PE Teacher with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a committed and motivating practitioner to join a specialist educational setting, delivering accessible, engaging and inclusive PE lessons to learners with a range of additional needs. About the Role As an SEN PE Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver differentiated PE lessons tailored to students with diverse needs (including ASD, SEMH, MLD and physical needs). Promote physical development, movement skills, confidence and wellbeing. Create a safe, structured and motivating environment that supports all learners to access PE at their level. Work closely with support staff, therapists and the wider teaching team to ensure all pupils can participate fully. Use positive behaviour management strategies and trauma‑informed approaches. Encourage teamwork, communication and social development through structured activities and adapted sports. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience working in an SEN setting or supporting students with SEN in mainstream. Strong understanding of adaptive PE, differentiated instruction and inclusive practice.
