Contract type: Full Time, 40 hours per week.
Rate: Competitive salary dependent on experience

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a forward-thinking and growing provider. Join us as our new Home Manager at Edgewater, located in Seacombe, Wallasey

About Edgewater

Located on Alfred Road in Seacombe, Edgewater has 30 bedrooms across three purpose-built units, creating a homely and responsive environment tailored to individual needs. The units include:

* Snow Drop Unit, supporting up to 10 adults with physical disabilities
* Royal Daffodil Unit, supporting up to 10 adults with complex mental health needs
* Royal Iris Unit, supporting those assigned male at birth with neuro disabilities

Opened in 2022, Edgewater is a vibrant community, offering ongoing opportunities to help the service flourish.

About the role

As a Home Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you will be the central figure of your home, leading by example and driving continuous improvement.

You will have significant autonomy, providing person-centered, quality-driven care to enhance daily life for residents and staff alike.

This role involves managing multiple aspects, including:

* Quality initiatives and improvements
* Team leadership and management
* Recruitment and staff development
* Referral management and occupancy
* Data collection, analysis, and interpretation
* Customer relationships and marketing for business sustainability

We seek someone who embodies our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success, and teamwork.

You must hold a first-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN.

With at least three years of management experience in a complex care setting, this role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager seeking the next step in their career.

You’re also someone with:

* A thorough understanding of nursing care best practices, sector-specific legislation, and governance frameworks
* Excellent communication skills to build relationships with local commissioners and professionals
* The ability to inspire, lead, and manage a team
* Strong time management skills to handle conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
* A broad range of clinical, business, digital, and operational skills
