We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a well-established and growing engineering business delivering high-quality mechanical projects across the North West.
Based near Runcorn, the company provides comprehensive mechanical and electrical solutions across multiple sectors and is known for its strong local reputation, technical expertise, and close-knit team culture.
The Role
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from initial enquiry and estimating through to final delivery and handover.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing mechanical projects from initial brief and estimating stage through to completion
*
Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, budgets, and project programmes
*
Coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors
*
Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
*
Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations
*
Supporting the delivery of efficient, innovative, and cost-effective HVAC solutions
About You
*
Proven experience in mechanical project management (estimating experience advantageous)
*
Mechanical trade background (essential)
*
HVAC experience preferred; BMS experience desirable but not essential
*
Strong commercial awareness and excellent organisational skills
*
Confident communicator capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines
