Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a detail‑driven finance professional who enjoys complex accounting, global reporting, and making sense of the numbers behind the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the core of financial reporting for the UK & Ireland entities of Exclusive Networks, with close collaboration across Europe — including our Head Office in France. This role offers real breadth, technical depth, and exposure to senior stakeholders, making it ideal for someone looking to develop within a dynamic, international finance environment.
Working alongside fellow FP&A professionals, you will play a key role in internal accounting, reconciliations, and statutory & group reporting. You’ll help ensure accurate financial results, strong controls, and timely reporting — all while supporting the wider business with meaningful financial information. Your work will span month‑end, year‑end, group consolidation, IFRS reporting, and audit support, giving you visibility across the full finance lifecycle.
As the FP&A Assistant, you will:
* Preparation and upload of trial balances into OneStream
* Reconciliation of OneStream flows, appendixes, and intercompany balances
* Management accounting reporting for review by FD and executive teams
* IFRS‑focused activities including: IFRS15 revenue cut‑off journals, deferrals and principal vs agent reviews
* IFRS16 lease accounting and journal postings
* Monthly accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, depreciation, and stock provisions
* Ownership of GRNI / IRNC, balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany loans
* Stock reporting and cost‑of‑sales adjustments
* FX revaluation, derivative postings, and FX reporting
* VAT returns, EC sales list, and Intrastat submissions (UK & IE)
* Bank reconciliations and recharge invoicing between entities
* Support for budgeting, audits (internal & external), and statutory submissions
* Ad‑hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal FP&A Assistant will:
* AAT Part Qualified or a relevant finance degree
* Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Be comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team
* Be confident following structured financial processes — and improving them
* Be proactive, self‑motivated, and solutions focused
* Have strong communication skills and can present information clearly and coherently
* Be highly proficient in Excel (this is essential)
