Our client specialises within the electronics industry across a number of divisions. They are one of the UK's leading manufacturers with years of expertise in their field.
Your new role
You will be responsible for accurately collation and presenting pricing for customers' bills of materials, utilising the company's MRP system. Liaising with other departments and suppliers to ensure quotes are received in a timely manner. On occasions be required to communicate directly with the customer to ensure a correct flow of information. You will be responsible for the processing of new orders in accordance with company procedure, Sales Order Processing. Creation of part numbers with Javlin and creating the Javlin Bill-of-materials accordingly. Work orders will require updating in accordance with company procedure Works order. Other ad hoc duties may be required from time to time.What you'll need to succeed
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail with proven capabilities in handling multiple priorities. Experience in a fast-moving electronic manufacturing role, or sound MRP understanding within a manufacturing role would be preferred. Working experience and understanding of ISO requirements.
