📅 Fixed-Term Contract – 12 Months
💰 £25, – £27, (£13.45 – £14.15 per hour)

Working within a café that serves food and specialises in autism support services, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and inclusive café experience in an environment that supports individuals to build confidence, practical skills, and independence.

🍳 The Role
As Community Chef / Café Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient and high-quality catering service within a busy community café environment.
You will also be part of a wider team who support and mentor individuals accessing the service, helping them develop vocational and life skills within a supportive setting.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
•Preparing and delivering high-quality meals and café offerings
•Supporting menu planning and development
•Ordering stock and managing supplies effectively
•Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
•Creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive café environment
•Working collaboratively with the wider support team

🧠 About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about working with people.
✔️ Essential:
•Previous experience within catering, hospitality, or café environments
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Organised and able to manage stock and ordering
•A positive, supportive, and approachable attitude
•Ability to work well within a team
⭐ Desirable:
•Experience supporting vulnerable individuals or within social care or lived experience
•Knowledge or understanding of autism
•Food Hygiene qualification
