Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for an experienced and registered Pharmacy Technician to join our flexible, friendly, hardworking and well-established Medicine Management pharmacy team at Queens Hospital, Burton.
As an MMT, you will be responsible for providing a safe, efficient and accurate ward based pharmacy service for hospital inpatients including medicines reconciliation, patient counselling and ensuring safe and timely discharges.
Main duties of the job
* Prioritise and manage your own workload to provide a Medicines Management Service to inpatients on the ward with support from the team.
* Co-ordinate with other sections and members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Person Specification
Experience
* Relevant experience of Medicines Management
Qualifications
* NVQ level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent
* Further clinical pharmacy qualification (e.g., Btech PDC)
Communication
* Evidence of communication skills
* Experience of supervising junior staff
Prioritisation
* Time management / managing own workload
* Applies expert knowledge and skills to maximise patient care
